Artwork
Sending your artwork.
Two steps: check your file against the specifications below, then email it to us. We return a PDF proof showing the print position, size and colours before anything is printed.
- STEP 01
Check the file
Vector with outlined text and Pantone references is the ideal. Everything else we can usually work with: see the specifications below.
- STEP 02
Email it to us
Send to info@amanasia.com with your product code and quantity. For anything too large to email, send a WeTransfer or Drive link. We reply with a PDF proof.
File formats
- Vector is best: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), EPS or PDF with all text converted to outlines.
- Photoshop or InDesign files are fine; earlier versions of all Adobe apps are accepted.
- Raster logos (JPEG, PNG, TIFF) must be at least 300 dpi at the finished print size.
- Word, PowerPoint and screenshots cannot be used for printing.
Colours
- Tell us the Pantone reference for each colour, or send a printed sample to match.
- If the job is not CMYK process, every colour must be a spot colour, ideally Pantone.
- Keep each colour on its own layer where possible; it lets us add trap and bleed.
- On natural fibres, printed colour will vary slightly from the screen and from the swatch.
Fonts & images
- Supply every font used, or outline all text, including text inside placed images.
- Placed images and EPS files must be embedded or sent alongside the artwork.
- Scans and photos: 300 dpi at finished size, CMYK or RGB.
- Send a colour reference (PDF or a photo of a printed sample) with multi-colour jobs.
Print area
- Tell us the print position: front, back, both, or on the gusset or handle.
- Give the finished print size in cm or inches; we work in both.
- Screen printing suits solid colours and up to four colours; embroidery suits small logos.
- Large photographic prints are possible on cotton panels. Ask and we'll advise.
